Through rope, the camera lenses and my paintings, I introduce a subculture of queers, rebels, punks, and outsiders. Free spirits bound by a fascination with rope and a fierce refusal to be absorbed by the social machine. Free spirits diving into the realm of altered states, sensory extremes, and the unapologetic exploration of the human condition.

Shibari

Shibari is at the centre of most things I create. Started learning Japanese shibari and Kinbaku in 2019. If you are interested to know more details of my rope journey, you can find some extra info on my Shibari Bio

In 2023, after three years of study at Milkyway Tokyo under Waka-sensei, I became their first non-Japanese rope instructor. I now perform regularly at my weekly event there, the Toro Shibari Salon, where I showcase live performances.
